October 2016 IPSY

thumb_img_2613_1024   thumb_img_2631_1024Hi everyone, this is my October Ipsy  un-bagging and mini review. In my bag this month, this is what I received: foundation, nail polish, face mask, primer, and eyeliner. I’ve already taken the quiz 3x and never seem to be completely happy with everything. The questions should just ask which type of products we want and which ones we don’t. When I retook the quiz, I clearly made sure not to answer questions about nail polish because I didn’t want them. Last month I received a hair product, which again I didn’t want. Everything else was ok.  Now, onto the review. Continue reading

CLINIQUE BALM TO BOMBSHELL SEPHORA 500 POINT PERK

500 point perkclinique balm to bomb shell sephora 500 point perk

Hello Beauties! This time of year Sephora has a bunch of rewards in their Bazaar Program. You’ll see all sorts of sets from their 500 point perks section. There are a few to choose from along with other deluxe point perk items. I for one have a hard time deciding what to get if I see so many choices!  I would never have picked this set from Clinique because I associate this brand with my aunt, so I always thought they were geared for mature woman. That all changed when I got a sample of their Even Better Makeup I was in love! I was so impressed I wanted to try more, this one product had me intrigued and I wanted to try it, their Pop Lip Colour. This is my review for the 500 point perk Clinique Balm to Bombshell, and yes, it is still available on Sephora online. AUGUST 2016 IPSY

thumb_IMG_2377_10241   thumb_IMG_1387_1024Ipsy came unexpectedly this month because I haven’t looked at the spoilers or searched for reviews. I like to be surprised and because I didn’t peek, not even just a little, I was totally surprised. When the pink bubbled package arrived I was happy as usual and wondered what was inside. I tore opened the bulky package to a lavender-haired princess plus 2 Korean sheet masks designed in a similar cutesy theme. If you have a little girl or a niece, I’m sure they would especially adore this bag! Continue reading

Sephora Natural Oasis Sample Bag

thumb_IMG_0790_1024  thumb_IMG_0829_1024Hello Beauties! A few weeks back if you were shopping online on Sephora’s website you had the chance to try out one of seven high end skincare deluxe samples with the promo code: FUTURE. Brands we’ve all heard so many awesome things about including Sunday Riley, Drunk Elephant, and Tatcha to name a few, but pricey to purchase if trying to figure out which one works best for your skin type. Let’s just say that promo code went out of stock in a few days. A couple of days later Sephora offered a 12 piece sampler with the promo code: Oasis  with more natural goodies to try out, this did not last long either. This blog post contains information about the12 piece sampler set including price breakdown and size. I will follow up with 3 separate posts to share my first impressions and my thoughts on these products and if they are worth purchasing just by trying out these foil samples.  Continue reading

MAY 2016 IPSY

thumb_IMG_0587_1024   thumb_IMG_0625_1024Hello Beauty Lovers! My yearly subscription was coming to an end and I was torn on whether I should renew my subscription or try something else. I decided to give it another shot because I did enjoy last month’s bag and a lot of other Ipsters seemed to be happy with their bags too. After receiving a couple of meh bags, I am glad I renewed! This month’s bag is adorable! It’s the first one that has a button snap instead of a zipper. I am really happy with the products too! In this bag I received 2 full size items and 3 deluxe items including: a makeup tool, lip treatment, mascara, lipstick, and fragrance. Here is my mini review for the month of May. Continue reading

April 2016 IPSY

thumb_IMG_5818_10241  thumb_IMG_9529_1024Hey beauties, the last couple of months I was not too impressed with my Ipsy subscription and was thinking of canceling. From watching other un-baggings I feel that these subscription companies do that often. Throw in a few duds and then give us a few awesome bags to keep us subscribed or wanting to subscribe. So that is what happened with this month’s bag. I am rethinking if I should sign up for another year and see what I get next month…  Continue reading
