Sephora Favorites Give Me More Lip 2015 4 of 4

thumb_IMG_4961_10241   thumb_IMG_4957_10241Hello Beauties! Thank you so much for your patience! I have finally concluded part 4 of 4 on the Sephora Give Me More Lip Favorite Set review. As you all know, this set was a limited holiday edition, and is no longer in stock. I did write a blog post when it first came out, and have written a first impression on all 15 products. I broke this review up into 4 parts so you wouldn’t have to scroll down for an hour reading my post. I also broke it up so that I could test out the products a bit more and give you a review on each item. I hope this review gives you a better idea about the individual lip product, if you had been wanting to know more about them. Or perhaps, this post will introduce a new lip item to your collection. Enjoy! thumb_IMG_4956_10241The 5 products reviewed in this set are:

In no random order, now let’s get to reviewing!thumb_IMG_4759_10241Urban Decay, Revolution Lipstick in Streak $27.00 Full-Size 0.12 oz

Of all the 15 lip products, this packaging stood out to me, just look at how gorgeous it looks! The tube is a tad bit longer than your standard tube of lipstick, it also spirals in with curves. The color looks like a gun-metal, sleek, and once opened there is a pop of purple. This particular shade looks pretty in the tube and on the lips. It glides on like butter, smooth, and silky. Feels moisturizing and hydrating. A pretty coral pink that looks flattering on many skin tones. Feels comfortable on my lips, but you must wipe the excess of the inside of your lips. I would repurchase in a different color. 4/5thumb_IMG_4853_10241

thumb_IMG_4781_10241Bite Beauty, Matte Crème Lip Crayon in Cognac $14.88 Deluxe-Size 0.031 oz The packaging is black and sleek. It is a pencil lip crayon that doesn’t need to be sharpened, just twist the product up. The thin tip of this lip crayon allows you to outline your lips and you can fill them in by slanting the thicker part of the lip product. I’ve tried a Bite product before and really loved it and I love that they are made with food-grade ingredients so it is okay to eat. However this particular product feels a bit thick, heavy, but creamy. A nice dark brown color, sweet candy scent, feels moisturizing and weights down the lips at the same time. I did not enjoy the heaviness it put on my lips, I could feel it was there. Even though this is a nice dark shade of brown and yes it does look pretty, it is not a color I would personally wear. 3.5/5thumb_IMG_4885_10241

thumb_IMG_4765_10241Fresh, Sugar Tulip Tinted Lip Treatment $7.50 Deluxe-Size 0.08 oz Just wow, this is so nice! It glides on smoothly, moisturizing, and nice. It has a sheer hot pink tint which you can layer to add more color or use one swipe for a hint of color. Has an SPF of 15 which is nice. Smells delightful, fresh, and citrusy. Product itself feels delicate and seems easy to break, keep out of the heat so it doesn’t melt. I’ve tried a clear one from them after trying this one and I love that one too. I would repurchase this color and other colors as well. 4.5.5thumb_IMG_4872_10241Tube feels smooth, twist open to reveal the product, and twist up to use. thumb_IMG_4912_10242Clinique, Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Super Strawberry $6.80 Deluxe-Size 0.04 oz This is a light on your lips, easy to apply, no fuss, no mirror needed kind of lip balm. It feels very moisturizing, glides on nicely. It is perfect for someone with fuller lips since it is a chubby stick. Nice sheer berry pink color, no need to sharpen, just swivel up for more product. As a deluxe-size the tube itself looks like a good size but the product given is so little. For me it wasn’t super impressive, but still a nice product. 3/5thumb_IMG_4755_10241

thumb_IMG_4940_10241Too Faced Cosmetics, Melted Liquid Long Wear Lipstick in Peony $3.15 Deluxe-Size 0.16 oz This is a cute and tiny sample size. In order to use this product first twist open the cap and slightly squeeze the tube. At first use it feels kind of gritty and the applicator is not smooth but rough. It does go on soft depending on how much product you squeeze out, can feel a little gritty and uneven. Has a sweet candy scent.  Color looks like a bright barbie pink a bit toned down. It looks nice on the lips, glossy, and smooth. It doesn’t feel drying. I wouldn’t purchase this particular color again and I wasn’t too fond of the doe foot applicator, I would’ve liked it more if it were a bit softer. However this product is free of parabens, phthalates, and sulfates which is always a plus in my book. 4/5

Overall:

I think this set was a fun way to try out new lip products and definitely try out new colors I would’ve never picked out on my own. I found a few favorites and got a feel of what types of lip products I like. Thanks for reading!
