March 2016 IPSY

Hello Beauties! Wow, I can’t believe it’s almost been a year since subscribing to Ipsy. Next month will be my final un-bagging. I’ve really enjoyed receiving this hot pink bubbled package, but I will not be continuing anytime soon. Main reason being that I haven’t really used most of the samples that I received. My teenager self would’ve loved this subscription service and find all of the products awesome. Especially because for $10 a month you get a variety of products to try out. At this stage of my life I prefer to stay away from certain products that contain harmful ingredients. I am not 100% fully committed to all natural/organic products..not yet at least. However, the past few products I received contain more chemicals that link to cancer than beneficial ones and I feel uncomfortable using them. This is my brief unboxing for March 2016.  Continue reading

March 2016 Love With Food

thumb_IMG_8590_1024   thumb_IMG_9535_10241Hello Foodies! My yearly subscription to Love with Food renewed automatically last month. My sister and I had previously joined together under her account. Shocked to see another bill from them my sister no longer wanted to continue this snacking journey with me. If you are subscribed to this snack service or planning to join, make sure to cancel your subscription in advance if you do not want be charged another year. My sister didn’t enjoy this subscription service as much as I did so it will just be me trying out these snacks. I on the other hand enjoyed most of the snacks and love the donation that goes towards food banks and will continue another year of snacking. This is my March 2016 Love with Food snack review and unboxing.  Continue reading

I am also certain that you know this set sold out within a couple of days and it is no longer in stock. WAIT, I just rechecked and this set is BACK in stock! Perfect timing! Check out this post or just head on over to Sephora to pick up a set right now if you missed out. I wasn’t sure how these colors would match my skin tone but quickly grabbed one anyway. All of the lip products shown in this review are sold separately in stores or online so if any of them appeal to you, you can buy them individually as well.  Continue reading

Sephora Favorites Hydration To Go

thumb_IMG_8831_1024   thumb_IMG_8838_1024Hello Beauties! This blog post is an overview of the Sephora Favorites Hydration To Go. This skincare set features deluxe-size products that hydrate in 4 innovate ways: essence mist, facial mask, multi-purpose oil, and creamy balm. I already own 3 of the 4 products in this set so I was hesitant to purchase this. But of course, Sephora, really knows how to lure customers in! I had to purchase this set when I saw Sephora was having their double points promo for skincare products. I reasoned with myself that I would be getting 3 backup products that I already enjoy, get double points, and try out the mist that got me interested in this set, in the first place. If you like skincare you need to check this one out. This set is still available, so check out this review to see if you would like to pick one up for yourself!  Continue reading

thumb_IMG_8590_1024   thumb_IMG_8592_10242Hello Foodies! The theme for January 2016 , Love is Kind, is the perfect way to begin the year with Love with Food! Most of us strive to improve our overall health and work on becoming a better “me” physically and mentally. How about subscribing to this monthly snack service? It cost less than $10 a month! You’ll be one step closer to becoming a better you by discovering snacks with less chemical junk, while providing a hot meal for someone who really needs it! This tasting subscription is worth it if you are looking for a way to give back to the community but don’t have time to physically volunteer or help out. While most donations don’t come with anything, this one comes with 8 snacks for you to sample. This review is based only on the snacks and if they are worth repurchasing or trying out. January 2016 IPSY

thumb_IMG_5818_10241   thumb_IMG_8565_1024Hello Beauties! This month’s Ipsy bag has an All Eyes On You theme. Three of the 5 eye-products are full-sized. The other 2 products are random deluxe-sized products, but still pricey when you calculate the product value. This blog post is my first impression on each of the 5 items for the month of January 2016. This is my personal opinion about each of the items as I open and swatch/try them for the first time. Are these products worth the $10 a month? Check back next month for February’s un-bagging and a brief review on the items from this January’s bag, and find out if I actually enjoyed these products or if they were even used at all. Perhaps this will help you decide if you were considering this makeup subscription or if you are here just to see what this Ipster received in her glam bag you are in the right place! I wrote about this set a few posts back when it first came out. Just to recap, this particular set was available only at JCPenney, and now after I have tried and tested out the products, I will briefly share my opinion about the individual items. This set, unfortunately, is no longer in stock, but each item mentioned is sold individually in stores and some are sold online. If you are looking for skincare products to add to your routine or want to know more about the products shown above, this post is for you.  Continue reading

thumb_IMG_4961_10241   thumb_IMG_4957_10241Hello Beauties! Thank you so much for your patience! I have finally concluded part 4 of 4 on the Sephora Give Me More Lip Favorite Set review. As you all know, this set was a limited holiday edition, and is no longer in stock. I did write a blog post when it first came out, and have written a first impression on all 15 products. I broke this review up into 4 parts so you wouldn’t have to scroll down for an hour reading my post. I also broke it up so that I could test out the products a bit more and give you a review on each item. I hope this review gives you a better idea about the individual lip product, if you had been wanting to know more about them. Or perhaps, this post will introduce a new lip item to your collection. Enjoy!  Continue reading
