1. Cookies & Cream Wafter Bites Dolcetto  @DolcettoBites  #dolcettocookies
Love with Food sent these in a different flavor a few months back in our February box. The lemon ones were yummy and this one is a tad yummier. They are mini chocolate wafers filled with smooth vanilla cream. These sure are delicate with a crisp and flakey outer shell like the package mentions. Encased in like a mini package these are such a wonderful treat. They are free of high fructose corn syrup, artificial ingredients, and trans fat. Also to note, Fusion Gourmet donates a percentage of their proceeds to women and children in need.

2. Chocolate Salted Caramel Protein Bar LUNA  @LUNAbar  #lunabar
Love with Food sent us their lemon flavored one back in our April box. This is Luna Bar’s brand new flavor that we received in full size and contains 12 grams of protein, they have been gluten free for some time now so that’s a plus. This brand is specially made for women with added calcium, iron, vitamin D, and folic acid. This company is partnered to help fund Breast Cancer and to empower women on the go.

3. Cheddar and Pepper Premium Puffed Corn Cosmos Creations @CosmoCreations  #cosmocreations
I have been really enjoying their caramel sea salt flavored snack and picked up from Costco whenever they have them in stock. The caramel ones taste yummy on its own or with milk. These Cheddar and Pepper flavored ones are yummy too. They are air puffed Non-GMO corn without hulls or kernels making it so easy to eat. Crunchy, soft, and very flavorful the fresh pepper gives it a nice kick of spice. They sure are out of this world yummy!

4. Home Cooked Salted Virginia Peanuts HUBS  @hubspeanuts  #hubspeanuts
This snack only has 4 ingredients: peanuts, vegetable oil (coconut oil, peanut oil), and salt. These are Non-GMO and gluten free, plus they don’t taste salty at all which is awesome. These peanuts are shelled, cut in half, and taste just like peanuts. thumb_IMG_4514_1024

5. Fruit Crisps  All Natural  @BAN_News  #brothersallnatural
When I first pulled these out of the box I thought they were dried apple. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was freeze-dried Asian pears. I’ve tried many dried fruit before but freeze dried Asian pear is a first. They are slightly sweet, tasty, soft but not too soft, and airy. Each packet contains 1/2 cup of fruit without the skin. There is no added sugar, they are gluten free, soy free, dairy free, Non-Gmo, vegan, kosher, and contain just 1 ingredient, the Asian pear itself.

6. Original Crackers Beecher’s Handmade Cheese @BeechersSeattle #beecherscheese
This cracker is slightly thick, crunchy, and has a hint of cheesy taste to them. It comes in a package of four yummy crackers. The company strives to use ingredients that are good quality with a foundation of love for artisan cheese. They started in Seattle’s historic Pike Place Market and then they opened up in New York City’s Flatiron District. 1% of all sales goes to the Pure Food Kids Foundation to help empower children to make healthy food choices for life. thumb_IMG_4520_1024

7. Crunchy Sunflower Seed Bites Somersault Snacks  @Somersault_life  #somersaultlife
These are tiny bite size circled cookies, crunchy and crispy. Slightly sweet and nutty they taste more healthy than like junk. Packed with sunflower seeds and cocoa they help to energize you. They aren’t as sweet or tasty as chocolate but much healthier for you. This wasn’t my favorite and I didn’t like the aftertaste from this.

8.  Chewie Fruities Assorted Flavors Torie And Howard  @torieandhoward
Really soft and chewy, chewier than a Starburst! These are so tasty and so yummy! I received 2 pieces in my box in the Lemon and Raspberry flavor and I really enjoyed it. They are gluten-free Non-GMO, and USDA Organic. They are also free of artificial dye, wheat, corn syrup, and casein. I want more!thumb_IMG_4533_1024

What is the value of this box?

To estimate the prices for this box I went to each website and got a rough price range for the minimum order. The more you purchase the cheaper the price but I was trying to be realistic and used prices that an average person could order in a household not as a wholesale for a whole school. Sure these snacks are cheaper if you order on Amazon or other secondary sources but again I just took the prices from the actual website to get a rough estimate. For the candies I only received two pieces and wasn’t able to find how many pieces per bag so I didn’t include that price in the actual calculation but still gave it an educated guess. Overall this box is a good deal if you are looking to get your moneys worth since it is now $7.99 a month.

Taste wise, I would say it was a good box this month. If I had to pick my favorites they would be: Meyer Lemon & Raspberry Chewie, Cookies & Cream Wafter Bites, and the Asian Pear Crisps. I feel that this company is doing a great job staying true to what they believe in and I appreciate how Love with Food tries to curate snacks that are healthier and seeks out companies that are also on a mission to help others. I really like that my purchase helps to donate a meal to feed a hungry child and this subscription is affordable too. I highly recommend this snack subscription if not for the snacks at least to do good for someone who is less fortunate than you.
