thumb_IMG_2377_10241   thumb_IMG_1387_1024Ipsy came unexpectedly this month because I haven’t looked at the spoilers or searched for reviews. I like to be surprised and because I didn’t peek, not even just a little, I was totally surprised. When the pink bubbled package arrived I was happy as usual and wondered what was inside. I tore opened the bulky package to a lavender-haired princess plus 2 Korean sheet masks designed in a similar cutesy theme. If you have a little girl or a niece, I’m sure they would especially adore this bag!

The first 2 items that took up quite a bit of space are the 2 Korean sheet masks. I’ve heard about these 2 step sheet masks but haven’t tried any before. So I am happy  to test these out even though this particular sheet mask is not one I would purchase on my own. One is infused with camellia oil and the other is olive oil. The first part is on the top and the second part is right below it. I will try to write a separate review on these. One thing that is awesome about Ipsy is that they usually give more than one sheet mask, usually different versions, and they don’t count them as  a combined item.

  1. Sally’s Box
Secret Garden Camellia Oil Ampoule Masks
  2. 2. Sally’s Box
Secret Garden Olive Oil Ampoule Masks

Next product in my bag I received an eyeliner. It is nice, smooth, and creamy. It glides on nicely and it’s retractable too. A makeup junkie can never have too many of these.

3. Beauty For Real I-LINE 24-7 Eyeliner in Black Magicthumb_IMG_1403_1024

4.Trust Fund Beauty
Liquid Lipstick in K, Bye

I’ve received a nail polish from this brand before. I guess they have other makeup items too. One thing I really like about this formula is that they leave out a lot of the harsh and nasty chemicals.  thumb_IMG_1398_1024

5. Symphony Beauty
Makeup Cleansing Wipes (travel size)

I’m not huge on makeup wipes and I don’t usually purchase them. I’m glad I got this in my subscription service so if I need to take off extra layer of makeup on days when I have on too much makeup or if the water is not working, at least I have a pack handy.

6. NYX Professional Makeup

The final product I received is this deluxe-size highlighter. This has quite a bit of product in here and a really nice glow to it. It comes in a squeezable tube with a tip that is shaped like a lipgloss applicator.thumb_IMG_1396_1024

Overall: I received 6 products in my bag this month. All of them were full-size except for 2 of the items were travel-size. I got a nice range of items that range from: makeup remover, sheet mask, liquid highlighter, eyeliner, and lip product. The bag is cutely designed but not my sort of thing. I will be using all of the products. If you do not own a lot of makeup but would like to try products, this is a great subscription, especially for $10.

I have not tried Ipsy’s beauty box subscription service, but I am starting to see that maybe that is a good thing because this box seemed a little underwhelming to me. Thank you for the review!

I received the Symphony Beauty Wipes and the NYX Illuminator in my bag too! I also received a Trust Fund Beauty nail polish before, and I didn’t know they had lipsticks either! I am looking forward to your review of the masks!
